Debra was admitted to practice in South Australia in 1981.
Debra joined Mouldens in 1985 and was appointed a partner in 1988. She has been the South Australian Editor of the Insurance Law Bulletin since 1988 and is a member of the Australian Insurance Law Association and the Australian Insurance Institute.
Debra has developed a depth and breadth of skill and experience over many years in acting in numerous professional indemnity claims and disciplinary proceedings for accountants, real estate agents, engineers, physiotherapists, chiropractors, surveyors, veterinary surgeons, major public hospitals, private hospitals and nursing homes on instructions from a number of insurers and schemes.
She also acts for a major medical defence insurer in medical negligence and other claims involving doctors and advises and acts for other insurers in relation to issues of indemnity and policy coverage.
Debra has extensive experience in personal injury and property damage claims, including managing numerous claim against ETSA arising from the 1983 Ash Wednesday Bushfires.

Debra is a member of the South Australian Board of Examiners and sits on the Research & Ethics Committee of a major public hospital.
She is also President of the South Australian Chapter of the Australian Professional Indemnity Group (APIG), and sits on the Chiropractic and Osteopathy Board of South Australia.
